Stopped in for a fish basket — the fries were excellent and the fish itself was good, nicely cooked and tasty. The coleslaw was on the sweet side, which wasn’t really to my liking. Biggest drawback was the wait: about 10 minutes in line and then 35 minutes to actually get the food, which felt long for a casual shack-style spot. Overall, decent food (especially the fries), but be prepared for a wait and a coleslaw that’s more sweet than tangy.

Salty has always been my go-to spot. Yeah, during peak times it can get busy, but honestly, I’ve never waited more than 30 minutes not a big deal. That said, I actually stopped going this year. Over the past few summers, I noticed they were giving way more fries than actual whole belly clams. It got disappointing after a while. But today, on a whim, we decided to give it another shot and wow, I’m glad we did. When we got home and opened up the box, there were at least three dozen fresh, perfectly fried whole belly clams in each order. I even had leftovers. Still sitting on a dozen! Their coleslaw has always been a favorite of mine, and the fries are still solid too. I really hope they keep this up. Consistency is everything it’s what keeps people coming back, and unfortunately, too many places forget that. Today, though, Salty reminded me why I loved it in the first place.

Salty's Clam Shack is an excellent clam shack with a great variety of seafood options from which to select. Salty's sits on the edge of the water and offers outside dining (on tables with umbrellas) with nice views and outdoor activities to enjoy while you wait for your food to be ready. The portions of food were extremely large (enough for leftovers or to share), and the seafood was all very fresh and tasty. They also have a bar with beer and wine available. Great choice for fresh seafood and outdoor dining!

Love fish and chips? Love the salty air? Come to Sally's clam shack. Food is delicious, service is amazing, and did I mention the food is delicious? I have taken a photo of their menu as well as prices. One fish and chips is enough for 2 people. Good sized portion which reasonable prices. I have nothing negative to say about this place. They are fantastic . We did have to wait 45 minutes but we didn't mind as there's an area for kids to play and nice picnic tables to sit at. Enjoy!!

Frozen mudslide was wonderful that I would say was the highlight, I ordered the fish basket that came with two pieces of large haddock, although not much fries and only one tartar sauce, which wasn’t even enough for one piece of fish, my friend got the whole belly clams although half of them were strips. We spent about $130 including tips so I would say that the food was good but they should definitely give more tartar sauce and a normal portion of fries since mine was half of what my friend got. The food was hot. Everyone was smiling, nice, cool breeze, and looking at the inlet and all the people out. Crapping was cool.

Cool little place we found after leaving Misquamicut Beach. We were looking for a hot lobster roll and Sally’s did not disappoint. It has a nice outdoor seating area with plenty of tables with umbrellas. We got the hot lobster rolls, clam strips and New England clam chowder. We would definitely come back, everything was delicious!

Came here after a fun day dancing at Tikki Beach! We both ordered the scallop basket and the clam chowder. When the order arrived we were very surprised that these were SEA scallops, they were HUGE and we were given so many per order! We probably could have ordered one and had been happy sharing, but the leftovers reheated in the air fryer the next day with some extra seasoning and lemon juice were so good! The fries were very crunchy and potatoey! It wasn't busy when we went around 6:15pm on a Sunday evening. I can see how the different windows for food, alcohol, and ice cream could keep the lines somewhat controlled during a busier time. Expect the prices to be fresh, seafood prices at a beach restaurant. Our scallop basket was $35 and worth it for the amount and size of the SEA scallops they gave us! I'm not taking away a star because the food wasn't what I'm "used to". The scallops were like breaded rather than completely covered and fried. There was more delicious thick scallop to eat! The New England clam chowder was more soupy rather than thick. I figured this was how they made their for and it was good for that reason. It was a beautiful evening and the outdoor dine out atmosphere was very nice.

The best clam cakes I've ever had! They just changed their recipe so if you tried them in the past, you must go back and try them now! Giant sized fritters, nice and crunchy on the outside, soft and moist inside with sizable clams. They change the oil daily instead of filtering it and you can taste the difference.
